The series of photos that wrote a new chapter for our direction personally and professionally. The session was inspired by Assunta’s Italian homeland and style. Fort Casey was a shoot location reserved for someone special and the bold, decaying architecture reminded us of post war Europe. Assunta descended the steps with a bottle of wine. Bombs falling? Who cares. Maybe, metaphorically as she waited – patiently – with bottle of wine in a cyclonic world around her. Classic Italian beauty and style contrasted by stark abandoned bunkers and artillery in Fort Casey – Whidbey Island, WA. The Fort Casey images are Set 1 of two. Set two balances the ruins with a beach location symbolizing Assunta’s two sides; Sophisticated and Fun.
